Affiliate Smartlinks

Smart Links let you route traffic across multiple redirect landing pages using a single affiliate tracking link. Instead of managing separate links for A/B testing or vertical-specific offers, you can group them into one dynamic smart link.

You can define how the traffic is split:

• Equal Weight — Distributes traffic evenly across all landing pages.

• Weight by EPC — Automatically prioritizes high-performing pages based on earnings per click.

Each smart link can include custom filters such as conversion types and statuses for more precise performance tracking. You can also view performance data and manually reset or adjust the weighting at any time.

✅ Simplify Link Management – Combine multiple landing pages into one link, ideal for A/B tests and multi-offer strategies.

✅ Boost Conversions Automatically – Let Trackdesk send more traffic to pages that convert better using EPC-based distribution.

✅ Give Affiliates More Flexibility – Affiliates use a single link without needing to manage or know the underlying pages.

✅ Adapt in Real-Time – Update landing pages and reset performance weights anytime, without changing the affiliate link.

1. Create a Smart Link
Go to Offers → Smart Links and click “Create smart link.” Add a name and description — this is what your affiliates will see.

2. Choose Offers and Pages
Select the offers and specific landing pages you want to include in the smart link. These must be redirect-type pages.

3. Define Conversion Criteria
Choose which conversion types and statuses should be used for EPC calculations (if using EPC distribution).

4. Pick Distribution Method
Choose between Equal Weight or EPC-based distribution. For EPC, you can set a minimum number of clicks required before the system starts optimizing.

5. Activate and Monitor
Activate your smart link, monitor performance, and adjust or reset traffic weights as needed. You can also allow or restrict affiliate access to smart link metrics under Settings.
